Introduction to Perl Programming will provide participants with a strong base of the fundamentals of programming with Perl. This course is either 3, 4 or 5 days, depending on the target audiences previous programming experience. It is taught as a series of all day hands-on workshops, with short lecture sessions followed by in-class practice and discussions. This course focuses simply on teaching the core elements of Perl including references and data structures, basic file and system interaction, control structures and an introduction to regular expressions.
